Marqido / マルキド / 마르키도 / 马球多 / มารุคิโด
Japanese Noise Creator/Sound Artist. Born in 1974. Started to perform in Tokyo. With a korean female artist "itta" formed "10". Invited a chinese avant-garde guitarist "Li Jianhong" to japan for the first time. With a japanese phychedelic illustrator "Yunico Uchiyama", they make "Democritus" that is released serially. Worked the music for butoh, play, dance, film and performance. Produced a compilation album "Asian Flashback" on PSF. Released albums with Li Jianhong and itta "See You New World" (2007), with Magical Power Mako "Marqido + Magical Power Mako" (2004).

Democrtus is collaborated works by Marqido and a japanese phychedelic illustrater Yunico Uchiyama who is known as T-shirt designer. The first Democritus was released in a limited box edition(Includes T-shirt) and a standerd CD in November 2004. The album is the electronic music of five experimental pieces.
Democritus II was released in a standerd CD only in October 2006.Yunico made a t-shirt specially as his t-shirt collection "Yuni-T".It was availabled on his web site. The album is Minimal & Ambient Noise of Marqido.
Democritus III was released in March 2008. The Album is Avant-Garde & Experimental Noise of Marqido. Yunico made a t-shirt for Democritus III. It was availabled on his web site.
